Russia loses 1,670 troopers and 12 tanks on 16 January

Ukraine's defence forces have killed 1,670 Russian troopers and destroyed over 200 items of Russian weapons and army gear up to now 24 hours.

Particulars: The entire fight losses of the Russian forces between 24 February 2022 and 17 January 2025 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

• roughly 815,820 (+1 670) army personnel;
• 9,803 (+12) tanks;
• 20,381 (+13) armoured fight automobiles;
• 22,019 (+4) artillery methods;
• 22,566 (+63) multiple-launch rocket methods;
• 34,256 (+124) automobiles and gasoline tankers;
• 3,699 (+2) particular automobiles and different gear.
