Ukraine and the UK have signed a mortgage settlement value about US$3bn for Ukraine's defence wants.

Quote: "At this time, Ukraine's Finance Minister Serhii Marchenko and the UK's Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves signed an settlement to offer Ukraine £2.26bn (round $3bn).
The signing ceremony, which was held on-line, was attended by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister of the UK Keir Starmer.
The funds are a part of the G7 Extraordinary Income Acceleration for Ukraine (ERA) mechanism value US$50 billion. The mortgage shall be serviced and repaid from future revenues obtained from immobilised Russian sovereign belongings.
The financing is supplied for 30 years, and the attracted funds shall be directed on buying defence tools in line with Ukraine's wants."
Particulars: The Ministry of Finance reiterates that Ukraine has already obtained US$1bn from the US and €3bn from the EU underneath the Extraordinary Income Acceleration for Ukraine (ERA) mechanism of the G7 international locations.
