“Energy Rangers” star Amy Jo Johnson shares throwback tribute to late costar Jason David Frank

Amy Jo Johnson is remembering her late Power Rangers costar.

The unique Pink Ranger shared a throwback photograph of herself with Jason David Frank, who performed Tommy Oliver on all three seasons of Mighty Morphin Energy Rangers, on Instagram on Monday.

"Thanks to whoever it was who gave me this photograph at Niagara [Falls Comic Con]," Johnson wrote in her caption, including an emoji of two pink hearts. "Miss this man, as all of us do."

Frank, who died by suicide at age 49 in 2022, was first launched on MMRP close to the tip of its first season in 1993. His character was solely meant to recur over a handful of episodes.
