OneRepublic founding member Tim Myers is working for California lieutenant governor

It's not too late for him to enter politics.

Tim Myers, a founding member and bass guitarist for "Apologize" group OneRepublic, has introduced that's he campaigning for the workplace of lieutenant governor in California.

In a publish shared Wednesday, he rallied supporters of his nascent marketing campaign, noting the media protection his candidacy had already acquired.

"Individuals throughout California are talking up — and saying what everyone knows: it's time for change. The established order in our politics isn’t working," wrote Myers, who's working as a Democrat. "Let's write a brand new tune for California — collectively!"

A 3rd-generation Californian, Myers stated he hopes to convey a "recent, sturdy voice to the Lt. The candidate was a part of the Grammy-nominated group from 2002 to 2007. He went on to discovered Palladium Data two years later. Along with releasing music himself, Myers has written and produced songs for artists equivalent to Kesha, Hailee Steinfeld, and Michelle Department.

Myers had introduced in April that he would run for Congress towards Republican U.S. Rep. Ken Calvert, however dropped out of that race to run for lieutenant governor.

In his new marketing campaign, Myers stated he plans to oppose President Donald Trump. He wrote in a earlier assertion that he had "witnessed issues which are deeply disturbing" since he started his preliminary run.
