Hungarian International Minister Péter Szijjártó has introduced that on 16 July, Budapest will suggest EU sanctions in opposition to Ukraine over the alleged deadly beating of a Hungarian citizen by Ukrainian navy enlistment workplace employees in Zakarpattia Oblast (Transcarpathia) in Ukraine's west.

Quote from Szijjártó: "The very fact is that in Ukraine, persons are hunted on the streets underneath the pretext of pressured conscription and other people die from the brutality of navy enlistment officers as a result of they don’t need to go to the entrance."
Particulars: He added, "A Hungarian citizen has fallen sufferer to this brutal manhunt".
Szijjártó mentioned that through the EU Council assembly, he declared: "We’ll formally provoke sanctions in opposition to all Ukrainian navy leaders and officers liable for the dying of a Hungarian citizen as a result of beating."
