Russia attacked Ukraine with 317 drones and missiles on the evening of 30-31 July, most of them focusing on the town of Kyiv. Air defence has downed 291 aerial property, however hits and falling particles that led to casualties have been recorded.

Particulars: Since 18:00 on 30 July, the Russians have attacked Ukraine with:
- 309 Shahed UAVs and decoy drones of varied varieties from the Russian cities of Bryansk, Millerovo, Shatalovo and Primorsko-Akhtarsk;
- 8 Iskander-Okay cruise missiles from Russia's Kursk Oblast.
Kyiv was the principle goal.
Early studies point out that, as of 09:00, air defence had downed or jammed 291 aerial property:
- 288 assault UAVs;
- 3 Iskander-Okay cruise missiles.
Direct hits by 5 missiles (one among them on a residential constructing in Kyiv) and 21 UAVs have been recorded in 12 areas and particles from intercepted targets fell in 19 areas, virtually all within the capital.
Ukraine's Air Drive expressed its condolences to the households of the deceased.
Background: As of 09:00, six individuals, together with a younger little one, have been killed in Russia's mixed assault on the capital on the evening of 30-31 July.
