Troopers from the Lazar particular forces unit of the twenty seventh Pechersk Brigade of the Nationwide Guard of Ukraine have destroyed a Russian S-300V surface-to-air missile system on the Zaporizhzhia entrance.

Particulars: Ukrainian drone operators detected a launcher with two transport-launch containers after which attacked it. Correct strikes brought on a robust detonation of the S-300V’s ammunition, fully destroying the system.
The S-300V is a medium-range surface-to-air missile system developed within the Soviet Union within the Nineteen Seventies and adopted for service in 1988. It was designed to guard army websites from plane, cruise missiles and ballistic missiles. Every launcher is supplied with its personal goal illumination radar, enabling autonomous operation. The system can have interaction a number of kinds of targets concurrently, travelling at speeds of as much as 3,000 metres per second.
The system employs 9M83 and 9M82 missiles with ranges of 75 km and 100 km respectively, and all components are mounted on tracked automobiles, guaranteeing excessive mobility. The price of one launcher is estimated at round US$40 million.
