    Taiwan says it will stop supplying machine tools to Russia altogether

    Taiwan has completely stopped supplying machine tools to Russia and increased fines for sanctions violations by 15 times. Exporters are required to specify the final recipient to prevent shipments via third countries.

    Taiwan has strengthened sanctions against russia by completely halting machine tool supplies and increasing fines for violating the ban, UNN reports citing Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs.

    The country's economy ministry said it increased the fine for the first violation of sanctions against moscow by 15 times, to 31.3 thousand dollars. Exporters are now required to specify the final recipient to ensure that the machines do not enter russia via third countries.
