Two killed and 11 injured in Russian assault on Poltava Oblast – images

Two individuals have been killed and 11 injured in a Russian assault on Poltava Oblast on the evening of 23-24 March.

Particulars: At 02:56, Diakivnych reported a Russian assault and air defence methods responding in Poltava Oblast.

Native media shops and Telegram channels wrote that a number of explosions had been heard in Poltava.

At round 03:30, Diakivnych commented on the aftermath of the assault.

Quote: "Injury to residential buildings and a resort has been recorded within the Poltava hromada because of the enemy assault. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

Fires have damaged out. Firefighters are working on the scene. Info on casualties is being confirmed".

Replace: Diakivnych later reported that two individuals had been killed and 7 injured within the assault.

Quote: "Sadly, two individuals have been killed and 7 injured."

Replace: In response to Poltava Oblast Army Administration, as of 04:00 the variety of individuals injured in Poltava Oblast had risen to 11.

Within the morning, Suspilne Poltava, a neighborhood department of the Ukrainian public broadcaster Suspilne, posted images of broken high-rise residential buildings.
