    Collier scores 26 factors, Lynx use challenges in OT to high Dream, who rallied after climate delay

    COLLEGE PARK, Ga. (AP) Napheesa Collier scored 26 factors and the Minnesota Lynx efficiently challenged two foul calls within the final minute of extra time to beat Atlanta 96-92 on Friday evening in a sport that noticed the Dream rally after a weather-related delay within the second quarter.

    The Lynx have been up 92-90 when challenges reversed foul calls on Atlanta drives with 54.8 and 20.5 seconds to go. Kayla McBride then made 4 free throws within the final 17.5 seconds to safe the win.

    McBride scored 18 factors for the Lynx (13-2) to surpass 5,000 for her profession. Courtney Williams added 16 factors and Bridget Carleton 14. Minnesota made 13 3-pointers and 17 of 18 free throws.

    Brionna Jones had 18 factors, Allisha Grey scored 17 and Brittney Griner 16 for the balanced Dream (10-6). Rhyne Howard added 15 factors, Jordan Canada had 14 and reserve Naz Hillmon 10. Atlanta had a season-high 52 factors within the paint to 24 for Minnesota.

    After lacking two video games, Collier helped the Lynx get off to a robust begin. Her basket giving her 13 factors pushed the result in 45-28 halfway by way of the second quarter. However moments later the lights flickered on and off within the Gateway Middle Enviornment, the results of extreme thunderstorms outdoors. The sport was delayed for eight minutes.
