Denis Bouanga, Hugo Lloris lead LAFC over Minnesota United 1-0 for third straight shutout victory

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) Denis Bouanga scored on a first-half penalty kick and Hugo Lloris made it arise for his third straight clear sheet as Los Angeles FC edged Minnesota United 1-0 on Wednesday evening.

Bouanga scored his eleventh objective when he despatched a right-footed shot previous Dayne St. Clair within the forty second minute. The PK was awarded after Jeremy Ebobisse was fouled by defender Nicolás Romero, who obtained a yellow card.

Lloris completed with three saves for his league-high-tying ninth clear sheet of the season for LAFC (10-5-5).

St. Clair entered with 9 shutouts and totaled 5 saves for Minnesota United (11-5-7), which falls to 6-3-3 at house.

Minnesota United has only one house win over LAFC, which joined the league in 2018. That got here in March of final season within the debut of Minnesota supervisor Eric Ramsay.

LAFC posted a 1-0 victory over Minnesota United at house within the season opener.

LAFC improves to 2-3-4 on the street. The membership was coming off shutout wins at house over the Colorado Rapids and FC Dallas by a mixed 5-0 rating.

LAFC will host the Los Angeles Galaxy on Saturday. Minnesota United travels to play the Portland Timbers on Saturday.
