Kaja Kallas, EU Excessive Consultant for Overseas Affairs and Safety Coverage, has mentioned that the European Union plans to approve its 18th bundle of sanctions in opposition to Russia by the tip of this week (23-29 June). Kallas made the announcement following a gathering of the EU Overseas Affairs Council in Brussels on 23 June.

Particulars: The EU's prime diplomat is assured that the 18th bundle of EU sanctions in opposition to Russia shall be authorised by 29 June.

"By the tip of this week, we goal to approve the 18th bundle of sanctions on Russia," Kallas acknowledged, including that "each sanction weakens Russia's potential to wage this warfare".

"A tricky new oil value cap on Russian oil stays on the desk," Kallas mentioned.
