European Council president outlines response wanted after Russia’s large-scale nighttime assault on Ukraine

European Council President António Costa has stated that Kyiv's companions should "keep the course" after Russia launched a document variety of drones and missiles towards Ukraine on the evening of 6-7 September.

Quote: "Speaking about peace whereas escalating bombings and focusing on authorities buildings and houses – that is Putin’s model of 'peace'.

Russia began this battle, and Russia is selecting to proceed it.

We should keep the course: strengthen Ukraine’s defences and step up strain on Russia by extra sanctions, in shut coordination with our allies and companions. My ideas are with the victims, the injured, and their households. The energy and resilience of the Ukrainian folks proceed to encourage us all."
