    Russia declares Easter truce and vows to halt all hostilities

    Russian chief Vladimir Putin has introduced an Easter truce, which supposedly means a halt to all hostilities in Ukraine from the night of 19 April till midnight on 21 April.

    Particulars: In keeping with Putin, Russia will cease all hostilities from 18:00 on 19 April Moscow time (coincides with Kyiv time) till 00:00 on 21 April.

    The Russian chief additionally referred to as on Kyiv to declare an Easter truce.

    In the meantime, he has raised considerations about "violations", noting that Russian troops needs to be ready for Kyiv to breach the ceasefire.
