Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 103 UAVs on the night time of 4-5 January 2025. Ukrainian air defence items have destroyed 61 of them and an extra 42 disappeared from radar.

Particulars: The Ukrainian army reported that Russian forces had launched the aerial belongings from the Russian cities of Bryansk, Millerevo and Oryol.

Ukrainian air defence items shot down the drones in Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr and Khmelnytskyi oblasts. No hits have been recorded.

A number of homes have been broken in Kharkiv Oblast because of the fall of a broken loitering munition, with civilians reported to have been injured.
