One employee from Ukraine's State Emergency Service (SES) has been killed and one injured whereas coping with the aftermath of a Russian assault on the town of Yahotyn, Kyiv Oblast.

Quote from Danyk: "A sudden structural collapse occurred whereas crews had been coping with the aftermath of the enemy assault and extinguishing a big fireplace at warehouses in Yahotyn, Kyiv Oblast. The incident claimed the lifetime of Chief Grasp Sergeant Mykhailo Protsenko, a 30-year-old firefighter from the twenty second Hearth and Rescue Unit – our comrade, an individual of honour and devotion to the rescue mission. Mykhailo leaves behind a spouse and two younger sons.
Grasp Sergeant Serhii Khobotnia, a 49-year-old part commander of the twenty second Hearth and Rescue Unit, was additionally injured and is at present underneath medical supervision."

- On 7 February, Russia carried out a mixed large-scale assault on Ukraine. In Kyiv Oblast, a hearth broke out at warehouses belonging to Roshen on account of the nighttime Russian UAV assault. [Roshen is a major international confectionery corporation based in Ukraine founded by former Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko – ed.]
- Later reviews indicated that the Roshen logistics centre in Yahotyn, the corporate's greatest warehouse for completed items, has been virtually totally destroyed.
