    Russia’s Defence Ministry reveals “particulars” of alleged drone assault on Putin residence

    Russia's Ministry of Defence has claimed that it repelled a drone assault on a residence of Russian chief Vladimir Putin in Novgorod Oblast on the night time of 28-29 December and has revealed what it described as particulars of the incident.

    Particulars: In response to the Russian Defence Ministry, on the night time of 28-29 December, Russian air defence programs supposedly intercepted 91 assault drones which, because the Russian facet claims, had been heading in the direction of the Kremlin chief's residence.

    The ministry stated that 49 drones had been supposedly downed over Bryansk Oblast and yet another over Smolensk Oblast.

    It additionally claimed that 18 drones had been intercepted over Novgorod Oblast earlier than 07:00 on 29 December, and an additional 23 between 07:00 and 09:00.
