Sweden allocates €1.2bn navy help bundle to Ukraine

The Swedish authorities authorised its twenty first bundle of navy help to Ukraine value SEK 12.9 billion (€1.2 billion) on Thursday 19 February.

Particulars: Jonson mentioned the help will deal with strengthening Ukraine's air defence.

Sweden plans to supply round €400 million from this sum to provide a Tridon Mk2 system, a Swedish-made anti-aircraft missile system significantly efficient in opposition to drones. The bundle can even embrace sensors, robots and anti-aircraft weapons.

One other €524 million will assist Ukrainian manufacturing of long-range missiles and drones.

The remaining €280 million will go in direction of grenade launchers from Swedish navy shares in addition to the acquisition of artillery shells, spare components and coaching for Ukrainian personnel.
