UK Overseas Secretary David Lammy has described the assembly in London with Ukrainian Overseas Minister Andrii Sybiha and Defence Minister Rustem Umierov as "helpful".

Background:
- Talks had been anticipated to happen in London on 23 April between the international ministers of Ukraine, the US, France, Germany and the UK.
- Nevertheless, the UK Overseas Workplace later introduced that the ministerial talks had been postponed and conferences would now be held at senior official stage.
- The Ukrainian delegation on the assembly included Overseas Minister Andrii Sybiha, Defence Minister Rustem Umierov and Andrii Yermak, Head of the Ukrainian President’s Workplace. On the British aspect, the assembly was attended by Jonathan Powell, the prime minister’s nationwide safety advisor. France was represented by Emmanuel Bonne, President Macron’s diplomatic adviser, and Germany by Jens Plötner, the chancellor’s adviser on international and safety coverage.
- Yermak acknowledged that in the course of the assembly, the groups continued a deep dialogue aimed toward attaining a simply and lasting peace in Ukraine.
