Ukraine has regained management of the village of Novomykhailivka in Donetsk Oblast, Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU) has reported.

Particulars: The operation was carried out by DIU’s Division of Lively Operations, notably the Artan unit, and the 2nd Assault Battalion from the third Assault Brigade. The forces expelled Russian troops and regained management of Novomykhailivka.
Quote: "Intercepted communications point out that the operation caught the occupiers without warning. The enemy misplaced round an organization of personnel and was pressured to redeploy reserves from different sections of the entrance.
Due to the coordinated work of intelligence, assault troops, heavy gear and UAVs, Ukrainian models have improved their tactical place and strengthened the defensive position on this sector.
As of now, Novomykhailivka has been cleared of Russians and is underneath the total management of the Ukrainian armed forces. Our flags are returning to the place they belong."

Background: On 24 August, Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, confirmed that Ukrainian forces had liberated the village of Zelenyi Hai in Donetsk Oblast and regained management of two different villages within the area, Mykhailivka and Volodymyrivka.
