    Biden’s final $500 million Ukraine military aid to be announced on Jan. 9, VOA reports

    The ultimate navy help package deal from the Biden administration to Ukraine, amounting to $500 million, is about to be formally introduced on Jan. 9, Voice of America correspondent Carla Babb reported on Jan. 8 from Ramstein Air Base.

    The package deal, drawn from the Pentagon’s present stockpile beneath the Presidential Drawdown Authority (PDA) program, is predicted to be the final from the outgoing administration earlier than President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration on Jan. 20.

    Regardless of earlier commitments to exhaust the remaining PDA funds, roughly $3.8 billion will stay unused, in accordance with the Pentagon, leaving the funds on the disposal of the incoming administration.
