US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has mentioned he was "shocked" by the spat between Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the White Home on 28 February.

Particulars: Rubio instructed journalists on his strategy to Saudi Arabia on 10 March that the assembly within the Oval Workplace had not gone "the way in which it was imagined to go".
Quote from Rubio: "We defined to them [the Ukrainians – ed.] our place. We actually wished to get negotiations.… I used to be truly shocked because it was taking place, as a result of it went the overall reverse of every thing we had talked about forward of time."
Particulars: Rubio mentioned he "couldn’t consider what he was seeing" in the course of the Oval Workplace assembly.
