“Tron: Ares” trailer sends digitized Jared Leto racing into the actual world

Jared Leto is off the Grid!

Disney's first Tron: Ares trailer showcases the Dallas Patrons Membership Oscar winner and Morbius star because the titular laptop program. In it, Ares, in a really neon-forward Tron look, busts out of the digital world of the Grid and enters the actual world on a harmful mission.

The sneak peek reveals what occurs if you drop an A.I. being smack-dab in the midst of a bustling metropolis. Police can't appear to catch Ares as he zooms previous on his light-cycle and chops cop vehicles in half. Looming overhead is a big Recognizer, the aerial car seen within the Grid.

"I'm searching for one thing," Ares says, "one thing I don’t perceive."

Leto and costar Jeff Bridges, who returns for his third franchise film after 1982's Tron and 2010's Tron: Legacy, previewed footage at CinemaCon in Las Vegas on Thursday. Leto promised the brand new movie will "hit you proper within the Grid … wherever that’s."

"It's an unbelievable visible expertise," Bridges added. "You're in for a deal with."

Bridges reprises his position as Kevin Flynn. Within the authentic Tron, he's a programmer who will get sucked inside a pc mainframe and is pressured to work together with different applications in an try to flee. Within the sequel, Bridges once more performs Kevin, who sends his son, Sam (Garrett Hedlund), a message from the digi-world, in addition to Clu, Kevin's digi-double and the corrupt program ruling the Grid.

Directed by Joachim Rønning, Tron: Ares additionally stars Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Hasan Minhaj, Jodie Turner-Smith, Arturo Castro, Cameron Monaghan, and Gillian Anderson. Anderson's character can be noticed within the trailer, enjoying some type of govt.
