    Russia assaults Ukraine with 58 drones in a single day: 30 downed, 18 go off radar, 9 strikes

    Russian forces have attacked Ukraine with 58 Shahed-type loitering munitions and numerous forms of decoy drones for the reason that night of 17 June. A complete of 30 drones have been destroyed, however there have been strikes in 9 areas.

    Quote: "As of 08:30 on 18 June, air defence forces downed 30 enemy Shahed-type UAVs (and different forms of drones) within the east and north of the nation. Twelve had been shot down with air defence belongings, whereas 18 disappeared from radar or had been suppressed by digital warfare. Enemy strikes had been recorded in 9 areas."

    Particulars: The Russians launched the drones from the Russian cities of Kursk and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, in addition to from Cape Chauda in briefly occupied Crimea.

    The principle targets of the assault had been Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts.
