    Serbia halts all arms exports amid Russian scrutiny over Ukraine

    Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic introduced on June 23 that Serbia has halted all arms exports, citing nationwide safety and financial pursuits. He denied that the transfer was a response to mounting criticism over allegations that Serbian munitions have ended up in Ukraine.

    Talking after a gathering with senior army officers, Vucic stated that Serbia is just sending ammunition to its personal barracks and all exports are suspended, in keeping with Serbia's greatest pursuits.

    Shortly after the announcement, Serbia's Protection Ministry issued an announcement confirming the suspension of all arms and army gear exports.

    Vucic's selections comes amid growing criticism – significantly following claims that Serbian ammunition has been equipped to Ukraine.

    In Might 2025, Russia’s International Intelligence Service (SVR) accused Belgrade of supplying weapons to Kyiv, regardless of Serbia's pleasant ties with Moscow and declared neutrality in Russia's invasion.
