    Zelensky, Trump hold phone call after Putin's pledge to continue war in Ukraine

    President Volodymyr Zelensky and U.S. President Donald Trump held a telephone dialog on July 4, Andriy Yermak, head of Ukraine's President's Workplace, introduced.

    "A vital and significant dialog between the presidents. All particulars will likely be obtainable very quickly," Yermak wrote on Telegram.

    This comes a day after a telephone name between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Trump, throughout which the Kremlin mentioned Putin reaffirmed that "Russia will proceed to pursue its objectives" in its battle towards Ukraine regardless of U.S. requires a ceasefire.
