White Home spokesperson Karoline Leavitt has urged that the crew of the detained tanker Bella 1 (Marinera), which had Russians on board, could also be topic to prosecution in the US for violating sanctions coverage.

Particulars: Leavitt mentioned the seizure of the Russian-flagged tanker "exhibits the USA shouldn’t be going to tolerate" sanctions violations.
She added that the ship's crew may be held to account and delivered to the US to face trial.
Moscow has urged the US to launch the crew and to deal with the Russian residents humanely.
