    Two Russian airports suspend flights after Ukrainian drones target Kazan, media, officials report

    An airport within the Russian metropolis of Kazan has suspended flights after Ukrainian drones hit a number of buildings, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) reported on Dec. 21.

    In response to the outlet, eight drones attacked town within the morning hours, with 5 of them hitting residential buildings throughout three districts of town.

    Russian impartial information outlet Meduza reported that 4 of the eight drones crashed into two high-rise residential buildings and one right into a low-rise residential constructing.

    Russian state media Kommersant reported that the airports of each Kazan and the neighboring metropolis of Izhevsk had suspended flights.

    The Kazan mayor's workplace has stated that colleges have been "selectively" evacuated, in accordance with Meduza.
