Russian forces have occupied the village of Sopych in Sumy Oblast, the place earlier reviews mentioned native residents had been kidnapped.

Background: Earlier, an area media outlet reported that Russian forces had kidnapped 19 residents of the border village of Sopych in Sumy Oblast to Russia. Interviews with these residents have been later proven on the Russian propaganda TV channel Vesti.
