Ukrainian forces repel largest mechanised assault as Russians assault on seven fronts – video

The third Military Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported that Russia's forces mounted their largest tried breakthrough on the Lyman-Borova entrance on 19 March. The assault concerned troops from Russia's 1st Tank Military and twentieth Mixed Arms Military.

Quote from Biletskyi: "We had been observing indicators of preparations for an offensive for a month and a half. The Russians intensified guided aerial bomb strikes on our crossings over the Oskil River, making an attempt to chop off logistics. They started organising their very own pontoon crossings and clearing routes of mines, which immediately pointed to preparations for a large-scale mechanised offensive.

We ready for it: defensive actions have been rehearsed on completely different fronts and every brigade had its personal plan for repelling the assault. The corps coordinated these actions and, consequently, the strikes have been thwarted on all fronts."
