    Fraudsters swindle Russians out of US$1.5 billion in 2024

    Cyber fraudsters have lured US$1.6 billion from Russians in 11 months of 2024.

    Particulars: "Cybercrime causes vital injury to the financial system and property rights of residents," Russian Inside Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev added.

    Over 702,000 circumstances of cybercrime have been reported in Russia within the first 11 months of 2024, a 14.3% improve in comparison with the identical interval in 2023.
