The United States demands that Qatar expel Hamas leaders due to the failure of peace talks

The United States calls on Qatar to expel Hamas leadership because of their refusal to stop fighting. Negotiations involving mediators from Qatar, the United States, and Egypt have failed because of Hamas' position.

The United States is calling on Qatar to expel Hamas leaders because of the organization's refusal to cease fire. This was reported by Reuters, according to UNN.

    Details

According to reports, the talks, which began in October with the participation of mediators from Qatar, the United States, and Egypt, failed to yield results due to Hamas' refusal to stop fighting.

A high-ranking source said that Washington has asked Qatar to allow the presence of Hamas leaders, saying that after numerous refusals to establish peace, the organization's leaders should not remain in the capital of the allied state.

Hamas representatives are currently denying information about possible expulsion from Qatar, and the country's official authorities are refraining from commenting.
