According to the WSJ, Kellogg supports the Biden administration’s efforts to provide as much weapons as possible to Ukraine before the inauguration. He said this would give Trump leverage over Moscow in settlement negotiations. At the same time, the Trump team “did not show much interest” in Ukraine’s NATO membership. Ukraine, in turn, emphasized its desire to achieve sustainable peace because “an unstable, temporary peace is not in the interests of the United States or Ukraine.” Also in Florida, Yermak met with Trump’s White House chief of staff, Susie Wiles, to discuss the Russian war in Ukraine.
