Adele to make her movie performing debut in Tom Ford’s adaptation of Anne Rice novel “Cry to Heaven”

Adele is saying "good day" to the massive display!

The Grammy winner will make her performing debut in Tom Ford's newly introduced Cry to Heaven, an adaptation of Anne Rice's 1982 novel, Leisure Weekly can affirm.

The movie would be the style mogul and filmmaker's first directorial function in practically a decade. He will even write the screenplay and produce by way of his Fade to Black manufacturing firm.

Together with Adele, Ford has lined up an all-star ensemble to guide the film, which is about in 18th-century Italy. The solid will embody Nicholas Hoult, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Ciarán Hinds, George MacKay, Mark Robust, Colin Firth, Paul Bettany, Owen Cooper, Daniel Quinn-Toye, Hunter Schafer, Josephine Thiesen, Thandiwe Newton, Theodore Pellerin, Daryl McCormack, Cassian Bilton, Hauk Hannemann, and Lux Pascal.

The movie is at the moment in pre-production in London and Rome, with principal images set to start in mid-January. Its present launch date is fall 2026.

The unique Rice novel follows two males, a Venetian noble and a castrated singer, whose lives turn out to be unexpectedly intertwined as they attempt to succeed on the earth of opera. The story touches on themes of id, betrayal, love, and the pursuit of inventive and private freedom.
