Ryan Murphy is getting in on the Halloween spirit. On Friday, the American Horror Story mastermind unveiled the solid listing for the long-awaited thirteenth season of the horror anthology — and it's a whopper.
The social media announcement lists the solid over a recording of “I’ll Be Seeing You” by Vera Lynn, which is about to incorporate franchise favorites Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe, and Leslie Grossman. New to the franchise is Depraved: For Good star Ariana Grande, who beforehand teamed up with Murphy on the horror-comedy collection Scream Queens.
And, because the announcement teases with a prolonged pause, Jessica Lange is making her return to the collection, after final being seen briefly in 2018's Apocalypse season. It additionally teases a launch date of Halloween 2026.
The reel additionally features a collection of fast, indiscernible (and certainly terrifying) photographs and ends with Roberts' iconic line from the Coven season: "Shock, bitch. I guess you thought you’d seen the final of me."
