Aubrey Plaza walked the purple carpet on the 2025 Cannes Movie Competition on Friday, marking her first look at a giant premiere for the reason that loss of life of her husband, Jeff Baena, nearly 5 months in the past.

Plaza, 40, and Baena started relationship in 2011 and married in 2021. Plaza starred in Baena's characteristic directorial debut, the zombie comedy Life After Beth, which he additionally wrote.
"That is an unimaginable tragedy," Plaza said in a statement shared with Entertainment Weekly following his loss of life. "We’re deeply grateful to everybody who has provided help. Please respect our privateness throughout this time."
