General Hospital legend Genie Francis is kissing and telling, and she or he solely has constructive issues to say about former boyfriend and costar Kin Shriner.

In a preview clip from fellow GH star Maurice Benard's State of Thoughts podcast (first reported by Swooon), Francis raves about Shriner. "Kin Shriner is simply, I simply love him, and I all the time will," she says. “First boyfriend in my life. Necessary individual in my life. At all times remembers my birthday to today. At all times calls me on my birthday. You recognize, he was an incredible boyfriend. He took such excellent care of me."

Francis has performed Laura Spencer on the cleaning soap opera since 1977, and Shriner has performed Scotty Baldwin on each Common Hospital and spinoff Port Charles over that very same timeframe.

Francis provides that Shriner was a vivid gentle for her throughout their early days on the present. "Throughout that time period the place I used to be so lonely, principally," she says. "The completely happy time that I had, the happiest time that I had on that present was once I was with him."

Funnily sufficient, Francis' husband, actor and director Jonathan Frakes, is sitting subsequent to her for the interview.
