Pamela Anderson isn't the one one exhibiting off their singing chops in The Naked Gun.
Liam Neeson steps behind the mic — his first time, apparently, in knowledgeable recording studio, as he says mid-song — for the top credit monitor "My Candy Beth." The ballad is a tribute from his character, Frank Drebin Jr., to a "very particular woman," as he sings: Anderson's Beth Davenport. The tune, director Akiva Schaffer reveals to Leisure Weekly, was a "last-minute thought." He was getting ready to indicate a closing edit of the film to some 90 family and friends members — however one factor was lacking.

Neeson says it was certainly a "shock addition" — one closing gag he was down for.
"I assumed, yeah, positive," the actor remembers. "It's not alleged to be Frank Sinatra or Tony Bennett, so we had a little bit of enjoyable with it."
How can one not with lyrics like: "Beth, ooooh / Prime-shelf curves, and brains as well / And boots that will high my mind's top-10 listing / Aboot boots, and the curvy brains that purchased them / Additionally, breasts / My candy Beth."
