One of many Lonely Island's raunchiest songs aired uncensored on Saturday Night Live — which completely stunned the members of the group.

Throughout an episode of The Lonely Island and Seth Meyers Podcast, Akiva Schaffer, Jorma Taccone, and Andy Samberg mirrored on the censorship battle — or lack thereof — that ended within the comedy trio repeatedly singing the phrase "jizz" on NBC of their viral tune "Jizz in My Pants."

"We assumed it couldn't air, and we made an entire different clear model that I consider is on Spotify and Apple and all over the place, the place it's Andy and Jorma making like orgasm-y, bizarre appears like, 'And I ooh in my pants," Schaffer recalled.

Taccone mentioned that he personally most well-liked that alternate model of the monitor. "I, one, didn't assume we should always air it with the phrase 'jizz,'" he mentioned. To me, it was a dirtier phrase than 'dick' in my thoughts," he mentioned, referring to their earlier hit "Dick in a Field," which had been bleeped.

Schaffer mentioned that the section ultimately reached the manager accountable for the community. "It went all the best way to Jeff Zucker, who was working NBC on the time, and he needed to watch it," the comic recalled. "And he mentioned, 'It's okay so long as it's after 12:30.' And that’s the reason it aired so late."
