WINNIPEG. Manitoba (AP) The Winnipeg Jets locked up ahead Gabriel Vilardi on Friday, signing the ahead to a six-year extension value $45 million.
Vilardi grew to become a restricted free agent July 1 after finishing a two-year, $6.88 million deal. He had profession highs in 2024-25 with 27 objectives, 34 assists, 61 factors and 71 video games.
The 25-year-old from Kingston, Ontario, added a purpose and three assists in 9 playoff video games after lacking the final 11 video games of the common season and first 4 of the postseason due to an upper-body damage.
The Jets acquired Vilardi in June 2023 in a commerce that despatched Pierre-Luc Dubois to the Los Angeles Kings. He has 90 objectives and 85 assists in 270 profession regular-season video games in six seasons with Los Angeles and Winnipeg.
