A big asteroid could collide with Earth in 2032: scientists estimate the extent of hazard

The Worldwide Astronomical Union has reported a 1.2% probability of asteroid 2024 YR4 colliding with the Earth. The item measuring 40-100 meters has a hazard stage 3 on the Torino scale.
