Frankenburg Technologies will start testing its own anti-aircraft missiles in Ukraine in 2024. The missiles use IS for guidance and can shoot down targets at an altitude of up to 2 km.

Estonian Defense Industry Company Frankenburg Technologies will start testing its own anti-aircraft missiles in Ukraine starting from the new year. This was announced by CEO of the company Kusti Salom in an interview with ERR, reports UNN.

"This technology is promising, and we will start testing it in Ukraine in the new year," said Kusti Salm.

According to him, the Test agreement has already been concluded, and the company's technology has attracted widespread attention.

Previously, Bloomberg noted Frankenburg as one of the four leading startups in the High-Tech defense industry in Europe.

An Estonian company with a simple motto – "technologies to win the war" – produces cheap missiles to shoot down drones that use artificial intelligence to hit targets, Bloomberg notes.

The Frankenburg website states that the company aims to revolutionize missile guidance systems with a situational awareness program based on artificial intelligence.

According to the general director of the company, the need for new weapons will not disappear, even if a ceasefire is concluded in Ukraine.

"A new and much bigger war is expected in Europe," Salm told Bloomberg.

    addition

The Frankenburg Mark 1 anti – aircraft missile should deal more effectively with drones – kamikaze Shahed of Iranian origin.

Sam told the military news publication Janes, that the Frankenburg missile can hit targets flying at an altitude of up to two kilometers. The Shahed-131 (Russian version of Geran-1) and Shahed-136 (Geran-2) drones used against Ukrainian forces usually take off at this altitude.
