A minimum of 76 flats have been broken, and 215 home windows have been shattered in a drone assault on Russia's Rostov-on-Don in a single day on Feb. 9, Mayor Alexander Scriabin claimed in a social media publish.
A state of emergency was declared within the affected district of Rostov-on-Don as Russia's Protection Ministry claimed 18 drones have been shot down over the area.
The Kyiv Unbiased couldn't instantly confirm these claims.
"Measurements for window replacements are going down in eight buildings, work will start within the remaining six buildings tomorrow," Scriabin stated on Feb. 8. Pure gasoline service resumed following a disruption, he added. No casualties have been reported.
Ukraine usually strikes targets inside Russia to cut back its means to wage its full-scale invasion in opposition to Ukraine. An oil refinery was focused in Russia's Volgograd Oblast early on Feb. 8.
Within the meantime, Ukraine's Armed Forces have launched a new offensive in Russia's Kursk Oblast, Russian media claimed on Feb. 6.
Based on Russian navy bloggers, Ukrainian forces allegedly attacked southeast of Sudzha, advancing towards the settlements of Fanaseevka and Ulanok.
