18-year-old injured in Russian drone attack on Sumy dies

Eighteen year-old Denys Zhurba has died from his accidents following the Jan. 30 Russian drone assault on Sumy, the Sumy Metropolis Council reported on Feb. 2.

Zhurba sustained extreme accidents from the assault when a shahed-type assault drone struck a multistorey constructing in Sumy shortly after midnight native time.

The assault was a part of a broader assault involving 81 assault and decoy drones launched in opposition to Ukraine.

Zhurba's classmates launched a fundraising marketing campaign for his medical therapy, based on the Sumy Metropolis Council.

Whereas they succeeded in elevating the mandatory quantity, Zhurba finally succumbed to his accidents.

The 18 year-old's father was among the many wounded and is at present being handled within the hospital.
