French satellite tv for pc operator Eutelsat Communications is in superior talks with the European Union to presumably substitute tech billionaire Elon Musk's Starlink in Ukraine, Bloomberg reported on March 6.
"Everyone seems to be asking us in the present day, 'Are you able to substitute the massive variety of terminals of Starlink in Ukraine,' and we’re that," Eutelsat CEO Eva Berneke informed Bloomberg.
Eutelsat, which already operates in Ukraine, has 1000’s of terminals deployed, though not all are related to the community.
Starlink has performed an important function in Ukraine's battlefield communications, with round 42,000 terminals offering service to the navy, medical services, companies, and support organizations.
Berneke stated the corporate is in discussions with suppliers to offer each military-grade and customary terminals and would wish "a few months" to produce 40,000 models.
