Oleksii Bezpaltsev, a 34-year-old poet and prose author from Kharkiv, was killed in motion whereas performing a fight mission in Kharkiv Oblast, PEN Ukraine reported on Dec. 25.
Recognized for his modernist model, Bezpaltsev revealed two collections of brief tales and took part in literary slams.
A pal remembered him as “cheerful and energetic,” somebody who cherished “movies, music, poetry, and biking,” including that he was “the King of Kharkiv underground.”
Earlier than serving in Kharkiv, Bezpaltsev fought on the Pokrovsk entrance.
