    Russia rejects a ceasefire in Ukraine, Russian International Minister Sergey Lavrov mentioned on Might 21.

    U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin held a cellphone name on Might 19 as Ukraine and its allies intensify efforts to finish Russia's battle.     "We’ve already been in these tales, we don’t need this anymore," Lavrov mentioned, referring to negotiations between Moscow and Ukraine following the onset of Russia's full-scale battle towards Ukraine in February 2022.

    Russia initiated peace talks with Ukraine, which happened on Might 16, following Moscow's rejection of calls from Ukraine and its allies for a direct ceasefire. The Kremlin claimed the negotiations can be a resumption of the 2022 peace negotiations.
