Colonel Vadym Sukharevskyi is reportedly set to be dismissed from his put up as Commander of Ukraine's Unmanned Techniques Forces, with the opportunity of being appointed commander of a newly established military corps as an alternative.

Particulars: The sources reported that the problem of Sukharevskyi’s dismissal had been beneath dialogue throughout the Armed Forces management for a number of months.

It’s at present unknown which of the military corps Sukharevskyi could also be appointed to guide.

Military corps have been established throughout the Floor Forces, the Air Assault Forces and the Marine Corps of the Ukrainian Navy.

For reference: Vadym Sukharevskyi was the primary officer of the Ukrainian Armed Forces beneath whose command hearth was opened on Russian troops. This occurred on 13 April 2014 close to town of Sloviansk, Donetsk Oblast.

Background:

• On 10 February 2024, Sukharevskyi was appointed deputy to Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi with duty for unmanned programs and the event of drone utilization.
• On 7 Might 2024, Ukraine’s Cupboard of Ministers (Ukrainian authorities) backed a draft decree by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, ready by the Ministry of Defence along with the Common Workers, establishing a separate department of the Armed Forces – the Unmanned Techniques Forces.
• In June 2024, Sukharevskyi was appointed Commander of the Unmanned Techniques Forces.
