    DPRK considers Orban a “role model”

    The North Korean Foreign Ministry called Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban a “role model.” This reaction was prompted by his criticism of the EU and statements about the defense of Hungary's sovereignty.

    The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK has issued a statement calling the head of the Hungarian government a “role model.” This was reported by the Hungarian edition of Nepszava, according to UNN.

    It is noted that in this way, North Korean diplomacy reacted to the speech of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, in which he criticized the European Union and declared Hungary's “commitment to defending its sovereignty.”

    Pyongyang said that by doing so, Hungary declared that it “will not tolerate pressure from Brussels and will not become a puppet state.

    “Hungary is not afraid of threats from imperialism and will not tolerate being made a puppet state or subordinate to Brussels,” the North Korean Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
