French International Minister Jean-Noël Barrot has begun his go to to the Ukrainian capital by inspecting the injury brought on by Russian assaults.

"Jean-Noël Barrot, who arrived in Kyiv as an honorary visitor of the Ambassadors’ Convention, started his go to on the website of the bombings. Ukraine wants stronger air defences," the embassy said, posting pictures of the aftermath of the Russian assaults that the French minister was inspecting.

Background:

• Barrot is scheduled to participate in Ukraine’s Ambassadors Convention on Monday 22 July.
